No, No, No, NO, NO!

Oliver is almost one and a half years old and is in his terrible twos stage. Being a slow developer, he is just now discovering that there are three dimensions in the world, and that he can jump and climb to almost any point in the house.
Being a male cat, he is naturally stubborn and doesn't like to hear the word no. He stops and waits and tries again when he thinks everyone has forgotten what he's doing. Sometimes, over and over and over again!

Oliver wondering what's up high.

He checks out the bookcase from several angles and starts to climb it.

What? Who? Me???

Maybe the mantle or top of the drapes would be easier.

What? OK! OK! I'll get down.

Well, another day done, what's UP for tomorrow?

Guests for the weekend

It's been a nice peaceful week, full of play, naps and good meals.

Besides Boomer, there's another cat living here with us. Her name is Lucy. She's an Abyssinian. She and Boomer are much older than us.

The word on the street is that strangers are coming to ruin our routine!

There's even talk of one of them being a DOG!!

We're NOT pleased.....

.

They even say he jumps in the WATER!!

His name is Max and he spent a lot of the weekend jumping in and out of the water!

Well they just left, now we're back to the old routine. He left us his bowl of food, but we think we'll pass on it.

Laundry Day

Oliver and Sophia, with a little help from Bengal buddy Boomer(on bottom shelf) make sure the washing and drying get done correctly!

When the laundry is done the next important task is play time. Sophia watches as Oliver leaps high for "birdie".

To cap off a busy weekend afternoon, Oliver plans on taking a nice nap. After all, dinner time will be here before you know it.
